Hi everyone, this is my first blog. Just getting used to this 'blogging' thing.

Embroidered Fancies: I graduated from the University of Huddersfield, with a First Class BA (Hons) degree in Textiles Crafts, specializing in Embroidery. As a Mixed-media Textile Artist I love to create unique pieces, combining traditional textile techniques with contemporary craft methods. My mixed-media approach to embroidery and textiles lets me explore and experiment, using my passion for drawing and collage, to go hand in hand with my love of stitching and sewing. All my work is handmade, with love and care, using the past to inspire the present, by storytelling through stitches.
